| Abstract: | On the 27th November 1948, the Minister of Health, Dr. A. Schembri-Adami, met the members of the Medical Profession. and delivered a talk on The National Health Insurance Scheme which the present Labour Government intends introducing In the Island in the near future. We are publishing in this Supplement to Vol. 1 No. 1 of "The Chest-Piece" the Minister's Message to the Medical Profession, and we take this opportunity of offering some candid criticism on the subject, although these are days when we are stilI very much in the dark as regards the details of the Scheme. |
