| Abstract: | This article analysis a request made by parish priest Amabile Bonanno to found a congregation in honour of St Joseph at St Julian's parish in 1910. The request included also a statute for the said congregation giving details on the role of the leaders and also the duties of the members. The request was, nonetheless, denied by the bishop. The article contains also a reproduction of the statute in the original Italian version and a translation into Maltese. |
