| Abstract: | This paper will address the place of research in post graduate family therapy training by looking at the type of research that family therapy trainees might be encouraged to undertake during their Master programmes, the training that needs to be on offer in this regard and the challenges that trainers and trainees are faced with in the process. In light of the limited research that is available on this, the author will be drawing on specific examples from training courses that the author is more acquainted with, to substantiate her arguments. |
