Abstract: Background & Objectives: The current breast cancer diagnostic workflow is subject to pre-analytic variables, interpretation and defined thresholds. Despite updated guidelines, equivocal and inter-laboratory disconcordance persist in current methodologies for HER2 assessment. The validation process for a novel molecular breast cancer classification method is outlined.
