Abstract: This report covers the mission by Mr Alain Bug to Malta from 21 September to 5 October 1985 as a Unesco consultant. The mission was financed under Unesco's Regular Programme for 1984-1985. The consultant's main objective was to: 'Collaborate with the Maltese authorities, and in particular with the Minister of Education, the Prime Minister's Office and the Youth Voluntary Service Organization, in order to evaluate existing youth voluntary activities in Malta, help them if need be in carrying out such activities, and make recommendations in order to develop the youth voluntary programme in Malta'.
