| Abstract: | Argotti Botanic Gardens, Floriana, 3rd June, 1898. Sir, In compliance with instructions received from you '' to prepare, for the information of His Excellency the Governor, a report suggesting the steps which, in my opinion, might be taken for the treatment of the Vine and Potato diseases;" I have the honour to transmit herewith enclosed: A "Report on the Vine and Potato diseases in Malta, and treatment thereof"; together with an Appendix on "Injury from Frost, and methods of prevention" ; and an Abstract of recommendations detailed in the Report and Appendix. |
