Abstract: System of Prizes.
Our Prizes Are Of Two Kinds, Standard and Competitive.
1. A Standard Prize may be gained by any boy who reaches a certain standard of marks in the Ordinary work of the year. This standard consists of 60 per cent of the year's total of marks. If a Prize is not gained in the way just described, one may be gained by a number of marks equal to 73 per cent of the Ordinary Marks, but obtained by Ordinary and Extraordinary Marks taken together. This is called an Aggregate Prize.
An additional Prize is given, if a boy's grand total reaches the Aggregate of the 'ordinary' marks for the year.
2. A Competitive Prize is gained by the boy who does best in a special Examination held at the end of the year.
A prize is given to the best in the Extra work of the year, provided his marks reach two-thirds of the total attainable, that is, 800 marks out of 1200.
