Abstract: The involvement of family in learning helps to improve student performance, reduce absenteeism and restore parents' confidence in their children's education (Garcia & Thornton, 2014). This study aimed to explore the parental involvement of parents whose children have special educational needs (SEN) and are supported by a Learning Support Educator (LSE) at school. Roy and Giraldo‑García (2018), describe the positive and strong bond between home and the school as an investment in the education of children.
