| Abstract: | BOOKWEEK has been held annually since 1975 by the Ghaqda Bibljotekarji. It is intended to focus attention on libraries in Malta and Gozo. The kind of attention that shows the importance of libraries to a developing nation requiring information, needing to be better educated and culturally elevated. The 1989 BOOKWEEK these "KEEP UP TO DATE" tries to bring to the notice of the general public the vast array of serials issued in Malta and Gozo. |
