| Abstract: | Asrael è una leggenda o opera in quattro atti del compositore Alberto Franchetti e del librettista Ferdinando Fontana. L'opera fu rappresentata per la prima volta al Teatro Municipale di Reggio l'11 febbraio 1888. La trama, basata sulla fiaba e sul folklore tedeschi, mostra il conflitto tra lo spirito del male e lo spirito dell'amore cristiano, rappresentati rispettivamente da Asrael e Nefta. |
