| Abstract: | Teatru Astra presents the programme for the 4-act melodrama "Macbeth", written by Francesco Maria Piave, with music composed by Giuseppe Verdi. The performance was directed by Mario Corradi, with musical direction from Joseph Vella. The performance featured the National Orchestra (conducted by Joseph Vella), and the Teatru Astra Opera Chorus (directed by Maria Frendo and Renzo Renzi). The performance was held on the 25th and the 27th of October, 2007, at Teatru Astra, in Victoria, Gozo. |
