| Abstract: | Giroflé-Girofla è un'opéra bouffe in tre atti con musiche di Charles Lecocq. Il libretto francese era di Albert Vanloo e Eugène Leterrier. L'opera fu presentata per la prima volta al Théâtre des Fantaisies Parisiennes, Bruxelles, il 21 marzo 1874. La storia, ambientata nella Spagna del XIII secolo, riguarda due spose gemelle, una delle quali viene rapita dai pirati. L'altro gemello si atteggia a entrambe le spose finché la prima non viene salvata. |
