| Abstract: | La principessa di Czarda (Die Csárdásfürstin) è un'operetta in 3 atti del compositore ungherese Emmerich Kálmán, su libretto di Leo Stein e Bela Jenbach. La sua prima rappresentazione si tenne a Vienna al Johann Strauß-Theater il 17 novembre 1915. La trama è la travagliata storia d'amore del giovane principe di Lippert-Weylersheim, Edvino Carlo, che all'Orpheum di Budapest, celebre locale notturno della capitale ungherese, trascorre le sue serate in compagnia degli amici, innamorandosi perdutamente di Sylva Varescu, canzonettista e acclamata diva del momento. |
