Abstract: Co-offending is a criminal offence involving the direct and concurrent participation of at least two offenders. This study investigated incarcerated offenders at CCF (1990-1999) – 2227 records (instances). The methodology was based on a purposive sampling : all offenders who were sentenced on the same day by the same court. Also, offences that were committed in same location. Co-offenders were found by Formosa Pace to be predominantly males, belong to the 21-30 age group, are first time offenders, most do not re co-offend, theft-related co-offending is the most prominent and the Grand Harbour Localities of Bormla and Valletta feature highly.
