| Abstract: | The launching of the INSPIRE Directive brought about drastic changes to the EU where spatial data was to be harmonised. EU Directive which has TO BE transposed but it will help Malta synergise past and current Maltese efforts in the GI and information fields. This will implement a wider NSDI effort in order to provide effective and efficient results. The players involved are various mainly MEPA, public/private organisations and Initiatives and academics. |
