| Abstract: | Professor Ġużè Aquilina, a Gozitan like me, also welcomed me each time I visited him at his home in Triq il-Ferrovija l-Qadima, Ħal Balzan. One day, in early 1982, I phoned him up. He was pleased to get to know me… mostly because I was a Gozitan. He had heard about me and read my poems, but I had never talked to or met him before. From then onwards I used to call at his home and we used to chat together about literature. [excerpt] |
