Abstract

RESOLUTIONS unanimously passed at the Fourth, Annual Meeting of the Catholic Institute of Great Britain, held at the Freemasons' Hall, Great Queen Street, on Tuesday, 7th June, 1842.

The Hon. CHARLES LANGDALE in the Chair. Moved by the Right Hon. Lord CAMOYS, and seconded by the Rev. JAMES O'N EAL, That the Report which has been read, be adopted, and that the same be printed and circulated amongst the Members of the Institute, under the direction of the Committee to be afterwards named. Moved by PHILIP HENRY HOWARD, Esq. M.P. and seconded by C. WELD, Esq., That this Meeting has received with great pleasure, the notification of the letter addressed to the noble President of the Institute, by His Eminence Cardinal Acton, and beg to offer their most respectful acknowledgments to His Eminence for his favourable opinion of the Institute, and for his kind offer of service.
