Abstract: Ḥorvat Ḥuqoq lies 3 km northwest of the Sea of Galilee, on a moderate hill surrounded by arable land and alluvial plains on the west. The remains of the ancient settlement (ca. 25–30 dunams) are covered partly by the ruins of the nineteenth- to early twentieth-century village of Yaquq (ca. 10 dunams), which was inhabited until 1948.
