| Abstract: | This research aims to archive the researcher’s quotidian memories through visual art. The scope of this research is to conduct memory archiving through practice-based research in a multi-media approach. Observational research allows the researcher to explore how other artists translate memories, feelings, and experiences into visuals. Through the reflective journal, illustrative and embroidery works emerge from the practice as research. The minimalistic and allusive illustrations are embroidered on found fabric and presented in the final exhibit. The installation aims to allow viewers to recollect by revisiting their own past memories, experiences, and feelings. |
