| Abstract: | There are various tools which one can employ to help in statistical research. These range from simple tools that produce basic calculations (and are readily available in proprietary office packages) to specialized statistics tools that are developed solely for the purpose of analysing data. Another more interesting group of tools is available freeware and has the same functionality as the commercial packages. This Chapter will give an overview of the tools available and will give examples from some of the tools for ease of reference. |
