Abstract: This book seeks to recount the diplomatic history of Palestine from the signing of the Oslo Peace Treaty up to the election of Ariel Sharon as Prime Minister. The author admits that the Oslo Peace Treaty is defunct under the stones of the second Intifada. According to Bishara, this treaty has brought more harm than good to the Palestinian people. The Palestinians began to implement the security clauses of this treaty but Israel stepped back from executing the political clauses that might have laid the foundations for the Palestinians to build their own state.
