Abstract: The cable television channel Discovery has recently undertaken a comprehensive examination of Napoleon's Egyptian expedition and has subsequently published a book titled 'Napoleon's Lost Fleet' that focuses on this particular topic. Furthermore, it has thoroughly analyzed the Austerlitz campaign, which holds a close association with Napoleon's ambitions concerning Malta. Napoleon's invasion of Malta aimed to showcase the existence of two major factions among the knights: one being pro-French and masonic, while the other being pro-Russian and anti-masonic. Masonry played a pivotal role in Napoleon's imperial policy, serving as a significant tool.
