Abstract: The article is a reflection on my life as a Palestinian citizen in the state of Israel, a state that claims to be democratic yet Jewish, thus automatically marginalizing its non-Jewish citizens. The article reflects on my experiences in Israel growing there under a regime of dehumanization of Palestinians and Palestinian culture, and consequently my migration to Germany to pursue my studies as opportunities in Israel are too limited. From there fate has led me to migrate again to the United States, where I have been living for years now. The Article narrates the experiences and difficulties and experiences of my youth in Israel and later on in Germany, and my life afterwards in the United States and the specific immigrant experience I had as a Palestinian Arab in all these places never feeling at home and not being able to either find one nor to return to my original home in Israel/Palestine.
