| Abstract: | I appreciated the very well-presented points of view on "The Maltese Conjoined Twins-Two Views ofTheir Separation," by Alex J. London and Lori P. Knowles (HCR, January-February 2001). Both authors concentrate directly on the case for separating the Ischiophagus- type conjoined twins. There are, however, other issues which this and similar cases should evoke in the bioethics debate. [excerpt] |
