Abstract: President Obama in his speech in the Egyptian capital, has reconfirmed the commitment of the US Administration to the fight against terrorism, but sought the cooperation of the Islamic world and stressed the need for a common Euro-American Development policy. There is still uncertainty on the tools to implement this new course of foreign policy. But the thesis of clash of civilizations is now definitely outdated.
