| Abstract: | Lara Zammit takes an insight into Clare Azzopardi' s acclaimed novel Castillo to the Spazju Kreattiv stage. The play's pivotal focus is on the death of Emma's sister, Catherine (Cathy) Penza, as depicted by Rachel Genovese. Cathy, a prolific author, was responsible for the creation of Dennis Castillo, a police inspector who enjoyed widespread acclaim among local readers. Her life was cut short by a bomb explosion in the 1980s, which drove Emma to become consumed with the quest to solve the mystery surrounding her sister's sorrowful demise. |
