Abstract: Healthcare professionals need specific competences to successfully utilise new technologies and fully profit from digitalisation. There is still a lack of research into the development of a common digital competency framework, that identifies competences and combines descriptors needed to implement this transformation. This systematic research aims to address this identified gap. It involves evaluating existing digital competency frameworks to identify core digital competences needed by the healthcare workforce.
