| Abstract: | The Malta Society of Arts (MSA) has conferred its esteemed Gold Medal upon artist Austin Camilleri, acknowledging his remarkable contributions to the contemporary visual arts both locally and internationally. The award, along with a certificate, was presented to Camilleri during an exclusive ceremony on Thursday, 14 December, 2023 at Palazzo de La Salle, the headquarters of the Malta Society of Arts in Valletta. The event was attended by H.E. George Vella, President of Malta, members of the MSA's committee, Camilleri's family and friends, as well as numerous distinguished guests. |
