| Abstract: | Leopoldo Fregoli, celebrated as the most distinguished and adaptable quick-change performer in history, embarked on multiple world tours, captivating audiences and leaving them in fits of laughter at every destination. According to his memoirs, Fregoli made three visits to Malta, with two of those occurring prior to World War I, culminating in a final performance season after 1923. |
