Abstract: Luca Cauchi engaged in the study of classical oil painting and drawing techniques predominantly on his own. He frequently referenced the works of esteemed historical figures, particularly Titian, Rembrandt, Sargent, and Zorn. The central theme of his artwork revolves around the exploration of the human figure and its diverse conditions. Furthermore, he regards painting as a method of chronicling his life, passions, and surroundings. The analysis of the human form is a crucial element in his creative endeavors.
