| Abstract: | Introduction: In diabetic patients, hyperglycaemia triggers an inflammatory response involved in the process of atherosclerosis and platelet hyperactivity may lead to increased platelet aggregation and vascular occlusion. The aim was to assess glycaemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) who were undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). |
