| Abstract: | Notary Giovanni Luca Mamo’s volumes are amongst the most precious in the collection of manuscripts at the Notarial Archives at St Christopher Street, Valletta. The current rehabilitation project of the archives involves a preservation and conservation plan which includes treating several manuscripts that will be displayed in the new museum and reading room. As part of this project, conservators Chanelle Briffa and Simon Sultana Harkins, under the supervision of Theresa Zammit Lupi, have been carrying out treatment on Notary Mamo’s collection. |
