Abstract: The chapter focuses on the manufacturing techniques used in illustrating and binding the early choirs books of L'Isle Adam's collection that the author reviewed and studied. The chapter makes reference to the various tools and methodologies used by the original creators, such as the use of flayholes, margin measurements, and inking of the musical notations.
