Abstract: The interesting plants of which we are about to trace the history are generally known in the present day, under the name of Citrus and Orange trees. They form the type of a family which Botanists, who advocate the Natural system, call Hesperides and Aurantia. The elegance of their shape, the beauty of their foliage, the grace and sweetness of their flowers, the colour, perfume, freshness, and wholesomeness of their fruits, render them the richest and most beautiful ornament of the world...
