Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) will undoubtedly change many aspects of our lives, and, in the current AI hype cycle, we should keep in mind what is hype and what is actually feasible. In this article, we start by demystifying AI (for a non-technical audience), thereafter discuss some risks of AI-based systems and close off with concerns regarding the future web (particularly from an EU perspective).
