| Abstract: | The purpose of my study was to research the subjects of door knockers in Malta. They are part of our everyday art culture and have a story to tell, shedding more light on the residents, traditions, and history of these unique gems. Information on how doorknobs and door knockers originate and develop over time, what materials are used, whether made locally or imported and how these relate to the door and the portal is also included. |
