Abstract

This document outlines the data acquisition methodologies, processing workflows, product deliverables, and quality standards associated with the ERDF156 Project — Development of Environmental Monitoring Strategy and Environmental Monitoring Baseline Surveys. The project represents a national milestone in the spatial mapping of the Maltese Islands through the integrated deployment of Topographic LiDAR, Bathymetric LiDAR, Photogrammetric Aerial Imagery, and Acoustic Bathymetric Scans. This comprehensive basket of data sources establishes the first national spatial baseline of excellence, providing a foundational dataset to support current and future environmental and operational projects that rely on high-quality geospatial information across thematic domains.
