| Abstract: | This handwritten notebook contains, zoological notes under the heading Fauna Melitensis – Quarta Classio: Pisces Animalium Vertebratorum. Includes also a brief "Vocabolario ittiologico"" (ichthyological glossary). On the reverse side, the notebook contains a separate set of notes titled Materia Medica, discussing medical properties and therapeutic uses of substances (proprietà, farmacologia e terapia), likely related to pharmacology and early medical education. |
| Description: | 1 handwritten notebook. The notebook is written on both sides; This notebook also has a section titled "Materia Medica". Its content begins from the reverse cover and runs a few pages. Latin is used throughout the notebook for the scientific nomenclature and taxonomic classification of botanical species, following standard binomial botanical conventions.
