| Abstract: | A new species from the genus Teinostoma Adams & Adams, 1853 from the eastern Mediterranean is being described as Teinostoma ovalisi Mifsud n. sp. The genus is new for the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, Teinostoma mexicanum nom. nov. is proposed for Teinostoma solidum Dall, 1889, primary homonym of Teinostoma solidum Smith, 1872. |
