| Abstract: | The adoption, consolidation, and development – since Malta became an independent state 61 years ago – of the two-party political system, that has eliminated the possibility of enjoying multiple political party representation in the House of Representatives with polyphonic expressions and ideas to consolidate it in only a bipartisan House, has in large measure contributed to the democratisation of slavery. |
