| Abstract: | Judith Beveridge is a renowned contemporary poet and creative writing teacher based in Australia. This interview sheds light on Beveridge’s formation as a poet, and her views on the status of poetry in Australian culture and poetry’s place in English education. Beveridge considers the roles that teachers and poets play in engaging young people with poetry, and the value of poetry-writing workshops for teachers and students. |
