Abstract: Michele Perrin is a three-act opera set in Paris. Father Michele Perrin discovers a plot to assassinate the general whom he has befriended recently. The opera deals with a period of political upheaval between the French Revolution and the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte, with Michele Perrin having to decide whether to betray his friend or remain loyal to his principles.
