Abstract: Introduction: The safety, quality, and efficacy of medical devices are crucial to advancing patient care and public health. Signal detection and management is vital for identifying potential safety concerns but may encounter challenges such as variability in data collection, and biases in reporting practices.
Aim: To determine the contribution of signal detection in promoting safe, good quality and effective medical devices with a primary focus on maintaining a patient-centric approach.
