Abstract: A team of supervisors from diverse disciplines, including counselling, family therapy, social work, and psychology holding academic positions at the University of Malta, and two doctoral candidates collaborating in different relationships: student-teacher, supervisor-supervisee, colleagues and organizing initiative such as conferences together practicing clinically in Malta will address how navigating these multiple relationships in supervision requires both an ethical and skillful approach reflecting on power dynamics and ethical practices. While their professions are formally distinct, the professional development and supervisory culture in Malta often transcends rigid disciplinary boundaries, often including cross-disciplinary supervisory arrangements. This fluidity allows for a rich exchange of perspectives and methodologies, further enhancing the sophistication of our professional landscape.
