| Abstract: | Da Malta i- 1964 opnaede fuld uafhaengighed fra det britiske koloniherredomme, blev maltesisk indfort som oens officielle sprog. Og det pa trods af, at der gennem det meste af et arhundrede havde vaeret en strid, om sproget burde vaee englesk eller italiensk. At maltesisk blev valgt, skyldes for en meget stor del en mands utraettelige arbejde gennem 40 ar. |
