Abstract: The Burmarrad community celebrated the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary alongside the restored titular statue, originally crafted in Spain in 1960. Marking the church’s 50th anniversary, the statue underwent major restoration after cracks appeared. Expert gilders and sculptors renewed its colors, gold leaf, and details, revealing its original beauty before it returned to the streets in procession.
