| Abstract: | Aim: The provision of accessible, quality health care for persons with disability in the area of sexual and reproductive health is made reference to in Article 25 of the United Nationals Convention for the Rights of Persons with Disability (UNCPRD). Yet the stereotypical assumptions that women with intellectual disability (ID) are either asexual or sexually inactive lead to consider sexual health screening superfluous. |
