Abstract: The management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is complex and challenging requiring a multidisciplinary approach. Community pharmacists are highly accessible and can contribute to managing patients with IBD through screening, risk prevention, monitoring and providing advice on medication use and lifestyle.
