| Abstract: | It has long been agreed that literature is not only a way of expressing oneself hut also a form of reflecting and reconstructing one's own condition. It recreates and puts into shape what is initially a state of mind. an inner mode of being. It is perhaps the must intriguing paradox in literary experience that the art of writing is simultaneously an effort to communicate and a sort of self-inflicted insolation. Writing is indeed different from experiencing, and yet it is through writing that experience is somehow defined and evaluated. On the other hand, the literary act does not change reality; it only transforms it into a type of truth, however subjective. [extract]. |
