| Abstract: | This article commemorates the centenary of the birth of Antoine Camilleri (1922-2005), a seminal figure in Maltese modernism and a founding member of several influential 20th-century art movements. Joseph Agius reviews the retrospective exhibition hosted by Heritage Malta at MUŻA, which features a selection of the artist's iconic self-portraits, personal artifacts, and his pioneering works in incised Maltese clay. |
